What is Babaloop?
Babaloop is a simple, smart marketplace for parents in Switzerland to buy and sell secondhand kids’ clothes, toys, and gear. Think of it as Ricardo or a parents whatsapp group, if it was made just for parents, with all the filters you wish existed.
How does Babaloop work?
You list what your little one has outgrown, add photos and details, and other parents can easily find and buy them. When your item sells, you’ll get a notification and can send it directly to its new home. Once the buyer has received it, you will get paid. Easy, safe, and sustainable.
Is Babaloop available across all of Switzerland?
Yes! Babaloop is built for parents all over Switzerland. You can buy or sell no matter where you live, from Zürich to Lausanne, Lugano to Bern. We are still not available in other countries.
What can I sell on Babaloop?
Anything your child no longer needs but still has life in it: clothes, shoes, books, toys, baby gear, bikes, and more. Just make sure items are clean, in good condition, and ready for their next round of fun.

Is Babaloop safe?
Absolutely. We use secure payments and encourage parent-to-parent trust. You’ll only interact with verified users, and listings are monitored to keep Babaloop friendly and reliable.
How do I get paid when my item sells?
Once your buyer confirms they’ve received the item, your payment is released to your account. You’ll see everything clearly in your Babaloop dashboard, no hidden fees, no waiting games. We are using a verified external payment service provider.
How do deliveries work?
Once your item sells, you’ll see the buyer’s delivery details in your dashboard. You can either:
Ship it with Swiss Post: pack it securely, print the label, and drop it off at any Post location or schedule a pick-up from home (step by step guide).
Meet locally: if the buyer’s nearby, hand it over in person and save the postage.
Does Babaloop take a commission?
Yes, a small commission helps us keep Babaloop running smoothly, cover transaction costs, and maintain a safe, high-quality platform. We keep it as low as possible.
Can I return an item I bought?
Since Babaloop is a parent-to-parent marketplace, all sales are final. If something doesn’t match the description, you can contact us and our team will try to help you solve it fairly. Returns & Refunds Policy.
